Cheers to 2025!
2024 was another busy year of family and farming here at Viewlawn. We were very thankful to have Carter, Cooper & Cody to help with the work as Larry had knee replacements in June and November. Nana & Papa were also excited to have five of the seven grandsons help with weaning this year, only missing the oldest and youngest. It is a blessing to have them working cattle with us. The year proved to be a great growing season with good yields in the crops and great weather for both planting & harvest. The US cowherd remains in dwindling numbers with rebuild yet to happen with the high all-around beef prices. This last week fat cattle were consistently over two dollars - what an exciting time to be in the beef business. We are thrilled about this year’s selection of two-year old bulls, yearling bulls and heifers. Outstanding conception in our females, vigorous calves, and superior growth all in a docile package remains our goal that will in turn yield remarkable results for you, our customers.
